So I survived my first tropical storm. When I went to bed, it was barely raining. I slept soundly throughtout the night. I woke up this morning to the sun shinning and dry land. In a bit, I am off to the pool to grade papers and get some sunrays. Chris can’t be the only one getting tan this weekend! I can’t believe you slept through a storm. You always ran downstairs to sleep in the living room at any whisper of thunder. It is about to rain here, I think. All that tropical weather probably getting pushed up here.

I know. I have been sleeping through a lot of storms over the past year. I believe it has to do with the exhaustion of my job. But don’t let me fool you, I still occasionally wake up. I’m not runnning downstairs anymore. I don’t believe my downstairs neighbors would be too keen on letting me crash on their couch. Good luck with that rain. The worst dodged me.
