    Hi all I thought I’d make a quick chang … 

    Hi all I thought I’d make a quick change to the sidebar. Is anyone using the catagories? I never did and I’m assuming no one else is either. So I took them down and I added a list of family sites. Let me know if I missed yours and I’ll get it in there.

      Clang…Clang…Clang… We have a winnah!

      It is indeed an Northern River Otter (Lontra canadensis). Pic from a trail cam in Washington state.

      They have been successfully replanted in NE Ohio and other midwestern states.

      Nutria (an invasive species) and muskrats are smaller and have the rat-like tail.

      5/8s of a point for Chris and 3/8s of a point for Carl.

    just wanted to let everyone know i had another tryout for the internationals yesterday and it went well. The players from OSU CSU and Akron didn”t have to show up because they had already made the team so the competition wasn”t as good as it will be this summer. But we had some players from Pitt and other schools throughout ohio, They also have to verify your online defensive driving course hours in your log book in The Driving Companion, and may also be asked to confirm their supervision of your driving. most of them were okay but only maybe a couple will make the team. we only trained for an hour and fifteen minutes because it started to poor after awhile. but it went well. hope all is well.

      It is indeed Neovison vison -the American Mink. Same family (Mustelidae family, but differen genus) as ermine/weasel/stoat.

      You can tell I’ve never bought mom a mink anything.

    your own graphic design tool kit. 

    For all yinz guys who want to be able to manipulate pictures and make sweet a logos, i found some free software that are a lot like the adobe products. if you always wanted to try out photoshop, but didn’t have $250 to buy it then check out this raster program http://www.gimp.org/downloads/.

    Or if you want to make some vector logos or illustrations check this out. http://www.inkscape.org/

    I haven’t used them too much, but they seem like good alternatives to high end software and do a lot of the same things.
