Whirlwind

The past few weeks have been like a whirlwind for me. Saturday I wrapped up a scholarship competition that I’ve been managing for a few weeks. I actually have to wrap up a few details today. Anyway I’m glad to get that off my plate. This week is exciting at work because we are about to launch a secret project that I’ll announce on Wed or Thurs. It is one of those things that comes together with all the pieces falling into place. I’m surprised it went so well up to this point.

Sunday there was a big pow-wow of LCMS congregations in Pittsburgh. Basically most of the churches are running out of money and the congregations have done a really poor job of taking care of themselves. I’m thinking about launching an LCMS PGH blog to help them get it together. We may see my church merge with some other congregations. This is just speculation right now but I think the initial talks have started.
