That is excellent…thanks for posting it.

      I do understand it!

Mom and I will probably get a FB account together.

My mom finally got one since she was tired of hearing from my sisters everything she was missing out on (pictures and random updates on the kids). She wants to keep her friends to only a handful of her relatives…I told her good luck with that!

Neat way of telling the story. It gave me the chills just like when I see one of my friends announce the birth of a baby!

    Testing this new feature.

Testing a new feature on the back end that could help you guys post easier.

    UPDATE

OK here is how it works. If you go to the sidebar and click login, like you normally would. Once logged in, you will see this new section on the dashboard called Tumblog.

This is a tool that is meant to be a qucker/simpler post method. Hopefully this will elevate some of the posting problems we have been having. How it works is if you want to post a specific type of post picture, video, link then just click the button and you’ll get a drop down and fill in the fields. An article is the same as regular text post.

Also the same means of making a post still exist so if you want to do what you are used to feel free.

(Joy let me know if this works for you on the iPad)

Thank ya. i only played a few levels cause i was at work. Fun.

The “Help” button on the game doesn’t work for me, so I have to learn by trial/error how to get more points.

If you double on the the deer with one shot, you get 500 pts. I think there is a triple there, but only got it a few points. Accuracy counts for points. Sometimes you can double twice on the monster buck that requires 2 hits.

My highest game = 18,500 pts.

    Techie Tweaks

Hey guys. I just fixed an issue that was bothering me regarding the site. It is an under the hood issue but significant. The only person who noticed the issue would be Lucille.

The problem was on sub-domain sites, like http://lucille.huelsman.org, you couldn’t upload images in the back end. Actually the images would upload but wouldn’t display. The problem is that our .htaccess file didn’t have the right code and wordpress didn’t know the correct path to the images. This isn’t an issue on the main blog because wordpress stores those files differently. I don’t know why it just works that way.

The fix came down to me copy an pasting a bit of code from a website and updating our .htaccess file. Which is basically a txt document that sits on the server. Here is Google’s official definition of the file if you are curious.

A .htaccess file is a configuration file that is placed inside the web tree, and configures access control (eg requiring a password to access the content) and other configuration settings, mostly related to content control.

So why should you care about this update. If you need me to create you a website on huelsman.org, say soccerlegends.huelsman.org or momsbestrecipe.huelsman.org, uploading images and other media works!

I have had problems with posting for a while now. I just usually give up. It used to say some sort of error when i would try to type a post. Now that is gone but I still can’t add photos. The ‘choose file’ button is visible, but I can’t click on it. Does this have anything to do with me posting from my iPad?

Also i can’t change my avatar pic. And i don’t know where this one even came from!
