Two words…Super glue. Nah, for the foundation, if you look at the first picture, you will see metal straps sticking up. Actually the inspector dude didn’t like that those metal straps and said they weren’t to code, so he made them drill hole in the foundation and put in “anchor bolts”. They drilled holes in a piece of wood that corresponded with the anchors and straps. They locked the board to the foundations using both of them. As far as bolting them together, there’s like 1,000 bolts holding everything together. About 500 under the house, 500 in the attic and about 500 more inside the house! Oh wait, that’s 1,600, there’s a lot of them!!!

Are the 2 pieces bolted together? How do they secure it to the foundation?
