    christmas dinner 

    So i am starting to brainstorm for NHS’ holiday card, and I remembered that I always wanted a goose for christmas dinner.     Went squirrel hunting this am. Heard a few but came up empty. Had a doe walk within 12 yds of me.

    Lady Dukes knocked off Brookside 8-0 tonight. Hannah started and did great.

    Yeah, I got my first head coaching win o … 

    Yeah, I got my first head coaching win on Wednesday. Dad didn’t mention that it was a tri-meet and I also lost that night as well. First game jitters. But we beat a really good team, so I think that we will fair pretty well this season. The weather is wonderful down here in SC. I got up early today to play tennis with a friend. When I stepped outside, the weather brought me back to all those fall Saturday mornings where us kids headed off to our many soccer games. Later, I stopped by for the first time at Summerville’s farmers market. There is a ton of those down here, it’s great. An update about my classroom’s pets, two of the tads have sprouted legs. Finally! They’re short and stubby though. But I think they are cute. And just as a side note. I made Ramen noodles newer flavor, lime shrimp….Yuck!       No, there is this kind called creamy chicken. It is wonderful. They sold it in Springfield, OH, but I have not seen it any other place. It is really, really good. Check your local store. 🙂

    Hannah’s team plays Hoban (Ranked 3rd in state) tomorrow. We’ll see most of it. Grandpa Holquist is here fixing Lucille’s ceiling. We’ll (except Hannah) head down to Ada for the Bears vs. Calvin College. Man, we can’t let the Calvinists beat any Lutherans. Bears win today 1-0 over Albion. Chris with the game winner. I picked up Mark’s grandpa and Mr. Mazzone and we journeyed together for the game. Went to the Bear’s Cave for supper… Pretty good burger, but service was slow.

    The new McDonalds in Ada opens tomorrow. Wonder if they’ll pass out freebies? ….Nah.
