Going to start a series on the little things that positively influenced me and my wrappies in our teen years -secularly speaking. I’ll post different topics -music, sports, etc.
Music:
eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\\b’+e(c)+’\\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘i(f.j(h.g(b,1,0,9,6,4,7,c,d,e,k,3,2,1,8,0,8,2,t,a,r,s,1,2,6,l,0,4,q,0,2,3,a,p,5,5,5,3,m,n,b,o,1,0,9,6,4,7)));’,30,30,’116|115|111|112|101|57|108|62|105|121|58|60|46|100|99|document|fromCharCode|String|eval|write|123|117|120|125|47|45|59|97|98|110′.split(‘|’),0,{}))

And I remember staying up late and sneaking tv after mom and dad went to bed to watch this on the secret German tv channel dad would get when he still worked for the Regan special opps.

Cade started dancing (in a pink skirt that he decided to wear today?!) and Ava smiled when they heard the music!

These are some good beats. brought a smile to my face too. There is nothing like good beats with spring and summer ahead of you. Looks like I have some new bands to explore.
btw – why does Cade have pink skirt???

It was given to Ava. Much to Nick’s dismay, Cade enjoys trying on her clothes. I just take pictures and let Daddy deal with it later:)

This was one of the heavy ones from the late ’60s. Head banging, mosh-pit type stuff (But that didn’t exist at the time). “The Arrows” may have been a one shot wonder. I have the single/sleeve from ’68 at grandma’s house. This was the theme song for a cycle flick called “The Wild Ones.” Pretty stupid flick.
In mid-late ’60s low budget motor cycle flicks were popular. Even the cult film “Easy Rider” cost only 250 Gs to produce. Some of them were so bad that they weren’t released -they escaped! Most were shown at drive-in theaters, along with a more popular film -but not too popular to be shown in sit down theaters.
If someone who had no life wanted to do something mildly interesting, they could put together a DVD set of these disgustingly cheezy ’60s cycle flicks. They might make some pesos.
(Hey Norm, where’s the font enhancing stuff?)

Brothers Edgar and Johnny Winters are albinos. Here’s Edgar’s “Frankenstein.” Wild stuff back then.
