We had a ton of people over to the parso …
We had a ton of people over to the parsonage for a work evening. New flower beds in the front (3 butterfly bushes were saved), the tree-like shrubs on the west side of the house and back yard are cut down, siding power-washed, and they’re going to try and fix the leak in the basement. Also the Roadmaster is sold and gone. A guy got it started and will use it in the demolition derby at the fair. I love that car and won’t watch the derby… Sniff sniff…

That car had a special place in my heart too Dad, but as I said with my TV, out with the broken, in with the workin’. I am happy to hear they are fixing the joint up a bit for you all. I can’t wait to see it when I come home! š

Glad to hear about the house work. One day I’ll come home and drive right by cause I don’t recognize the place.
Well if that car loved you back it would have ran a little longer. Perhaps participating in the derby can be one last way for the car to give back. Bring home the gold! Actually I didn’t know you cared so much for the car. I loved the yellow Chavette but you didn’t ask me about it when you sold it. š

Yeah, time marches on.
I gave the Chevette away to a needy person. The guy crashed it a few weeks later.
