    Flight out 

    It is finally here. I fly out this Thursday. I will first fly to Detroit. Here I will meet up with one of my teammates, Brenda. We both will fly to Amsterdam and then to Uganda. It pokies online will take around 24 hours to fly there. That’s with layovers which aren’t very long in either Detroit or Amsterdam. I have been getting much ready (thanks to Tommy) but still have much to pack. Ok, I’ll be honest, all of my packing to do. I still have a few more days to get it all together. :) Wish me luck and prayers are always welcomed!

    Getting Nick back to the motherland 

    hola,
    Most of you were there, but thought i would give an update on the adventure, no… the saga that happened today.

    Mom, Norm, Hannah, and I traveled to Findlay listen to Nick bring the brimstone and fire. Afterward we went to Subway for some grub. After our stomachs and mouths were filled to max capacity we started the third leg of the journey to Indiana. Fortunately, and to my delight, Nick, Joy, Cade, and Ava had just about everything in bins and boxes ready to go into Clyde’s (Mr.Vennekotter) truck and trailer. We loaded up in about an hour, and drove back to the flatlands. unloading was more painless than loading. after the work was done we had fabulous pizza and bread sticks from The Pizzeria. topping it off, which tickled me pink, was vanilla ice cream with root beer (no rootbeer floats were present that i could see). They remained segregated. The original four then headed back to the more hilly flatlands in the east to a place we call the Ghetto’s of Grand Avenue. the saga is complete.

    In conclusion, tomorrow is Memorial day.     Mom Medical Update 

    Had some good medical news this past week.
    My cholesterol levels all went down to the normal range.
    Doc only wanted me to cook with olive oil and take some more fish oil supplements.
    Also saw Dr. Bhatt (oncologist) on Friday. He said my numbers were “fabulous”. Everything normal.
    Now to walk off these few extra pounds at Kelly’s Island.     In DC 

    I know there were a lot of us traveling this weekend. I was in D.C. for a magic event. There were around 1950 other players.     Graduation 

    So this is it, I”m done. My last paper is done, my last class is over. All that is left is smiling pretty as they hand me the diploma. wow.
